If you are a big fan of Ina Garten's cooking, you might have noted her particular method. She doesn't prefer different cooking methods when busy in the kitchen. Instead, she enjoys one specific way of cooking over the other. Roasting is one of her favorite ways to get things heated, and Ina encourages it repeatedly. One of her most famous traits is roasting vegetables in a very simplistic way. Cutting up small pieces of leftover vegetables can make for an excellent veggie roast, and she uses any vegetables she can lay her hands on. Ina insists that dressing them in olive oil and a pinch of salt is the best way to cook your favorite vegetables, and it goes for every recipe Ina uses to make vegetables. From squash to zucchini, there are no known vegetables that she doesn't roast.

The simplicity of her dishes is a common theme for Ina Garten

If there is one thing that Ina Garten is well known for, it’s not being scared to use the same technique when it comes to her recipes. Although she loves trying new things, she is known to use the same old methods that work. In one of her cookbooks, Ina is known to use a similar ingredient in many of her recipes. Maybe she was just showing off her love for goat's cheese, or she's on to something? Both her recipes' Herbed Goat's Cheese Sandwiches' and 'Salad with Warm Goats Cheese' can be seen featured in the same cookbook named 'Parties!' If It Isn't Broken, Why Fix It?

Besides repeating the same ingredient in many of her dishes, Ina Garten also likes to repurpose the same taste and feel for others. This can be seen carried throughout the themes of her cookbooks. In one cookbook called 'Barefoot Contessa,' she has a recipe called 'Parmesan smashed potatoes.' Fans couldn't help but notice that it was almost identical to a formula in another of her cookbooks called 'Make it Ahead.' There, Ina presented a dish called 'Parmesan chive smashed potatoes' which seemed to be so popular, it made a comeback.

All in all, Ina Garten's recipes have been loved by millions worldwide. People around the globe still keep on waiting for more from the cookbook author and her unique way of cooking. It shows that even though something can be reused and repurposed, it doesn't necessarily mean losing its validity or flavor.
