Things People Might Not Know About Bobby Flay

It looked for a time as though Bobby Flay would walk away from the Food Network after decades on the network. Thankfully, that moment didn’t come as his contract was renewed for at least another three years at the end of 2021, and he’s been there ever since. After all, Bobby Flay is one of the biggest names to ever come out of the Food Network.

Just because he’s enjoyed a host of shows and years at the top doesn’t mean everyone knows all there is to know about the professional chef. In fact, there is still a lot about the man behind the delicious meals that has never hit the small screen.

Bobby Flay worked for the American Stock Exchange before the Food Network

Just because someone has the passion for doing something doesn’t mean they get to make their dreams come true overnight. That’s long been the case for Bobby Flay, who’s had to work hard to make his dream career as a chef get off the ground. So what did he do before he spent all day in the kitchen? Work for the American Stock Exchange. Here, Flay worked as a clerk, but he only lasted six months before he was out. Bobby later told Inc. that he was “all about the dollar” but couldn’t handle the environment and quickly headed “back to the kitchen.”

There’s no denying that Muhammad Ali is one of the biggest names in the world of sports. Perhaps it’s no wonder that Bobby Flay would choose to have dinner with the late boxer over anyone else in the world? After all, we bet Ali has plenty of stories to tell.
